Guardianships

Unfortunately, guardianships are sometimes necessary to assist a friend or family member who is unable to make their own decisions.  This can occur for minors as well as for adults who are incapable of making informed decisions regarding their personal well being or responsible management of their assets.  The guardianship process involves petitioning a court for the appointment of a guardian and, following appointment, may require certain reports and accountings be provided to the court.  Our lawyer is experienced and available to assist you in addressing the processes associated with obtaining and maintaining a guardianship.
